– Rodney Oilschlager –
Apartment Rentals & New Construction
Rod is a 1973 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry. He holds a Wisconsin Real Estate Broker’s License and a Florida Condominium Association Managers License.
Following graduation Rod spent the next seven years as a pilot in the United States Navy where he received valuable management and leadership training.
He has worked with Midwest since September of 1980 and has worked in all phases of the company from construction, construction supervision, on-site management and district property management.
As President of Midwest, Rod’s primary responsibility is to supervise the company’s operations as well as the overall administration of the company’s business and financial positions.
His personal involvement in directing both management and administration has been instrumental in the company’s success of maintaining high occupancy rates and low expenses.
– Tom Amack –
Apartment Rentals & Property Management
Tom is a Licensed Wisconsin Real Estate Broker and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Tom has 22+ years of real estate experience, ranging from development, selling new residential construction, property management, and real estate ownership. He is fluent in Spanish having lived and studied abroad for over 10 years.
He currently serves as the Director of Property Management and is responsible for managing and supervising the company’s Fee Management Division. Tom has a very good understanding of what is important to owners when managing their assets. He is approachable, efficient, pro-active and budget minded.
His property management experience includes management of single family homes, condominiums, duplexes, apartment homes, commercial properties, and storage facilities. Tom has been involved in all aspects of management including on-site day-to-day management and overseeing staffs upwards of 75 employees.
After 12 years at Midwest, Tom continues to strive for efficient ways to maximize potential revenues and generate value for the company’s investments while providing the best possible customer service and quality apartment living experience to all of our residents.
– Gerry Keuler –
Gerry is a 1980 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (WI). He currently serves as corporate controller for the Midwest Real Estate family of companies. Gerry came to Midwest in 1989 after spending five years in Public Accounting and 4 years working for a small real estate developer in the Oshkosh area.
In his 30 years with Midwest, he has been in charge of the accounting and tax work for a variety of development companies and more than 30 apartment entities. Those duties included year-end filings with Lenders, tax reporting, real estate tax payments, income projections, annual report filings with various states, formation and dissolution of partnerships, LLCs, S-Corporations and LLPs.
He has also been involved in the financing of new projects as well as a number of re-financing of existing projects. In addition to these duties, he has worked with vendors on our annual property and casualty insurance policies. He has also pursued cost segregation studies to maximize depreciation write-offs through changes in accounting policies and use of outside consultants to perform cost segregation studies. During those years, he also guided the manager of accounting for our then Florida based Condominium management company. At our peak, he has overseen more than 10,000 condominium units for the various ownership boards.
– Clark Oilschlager –
Clark attended the University of Minnesota-Winona majoring in Business Administration.
In his 12 years at Midwest, he has worked his way up from a Leasing Consultant to the On-Site Manager of various properties both in Oshkosh and Milwaukee.
In January of 2013, while still a Property Manager, he assisted as the Regional Property Manager in the Fond du Lac and Milwaukee areas. He has done an excellent job in improving occupancy rates and Net Operating Income. His properties consistently are in the low to high 90% occupancy.
Clark is always looking for ways to improve the properties cash flow and keeps himself informed of current market trends.
Clark holds a Wisconsin Real Estate Sales License.
Clark annually attends Property Management, Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing seminars. In addition, Clark presents the same topics to Midwest Realty Management’s on-site staff at their semi-annual in-house seminars.
Clark is a National Certified Pool Operator.
– Tracey Okon –
Tracey attended the Fox Valley Technical College in Accounting.
In her 16 years of working with Midwest, she has worked her way up from the Accounting/Bookkeeping position in the corporate office to an on-site Property Manager.
In June of 2013, while still a Property Manager, Tracey transitioned into a full time Regional Property Manager in our corporate office. She is currently responsible for the Oshkosh and Sheboygan markets totaling around 2,000 units.
Tracey has been involved in all aspects of management including the on-site day-to-day management and overall operations. Her properties have all been in the high 90’s to 100% occupied over the last seven years under her diligent management and supervision efforts.
Tracey annually attends Property Management, Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing seminars. In addition, Tracey presents the same topics to Midwest Realty Management’s on-site staff at their semi-annual in-house seminars.
She has effectively filled and trained open positions at her properties with qualified staff and has done a great job at transitioning from one position to another while keeping the staff, occupancy, and Net Operating Income on track for all properties.
